5.0 Shipping Terms and Conditions

5.1 You accept USPS, UPS, FedEx and all other mail carriers QuadQuestions.com offers (“Mail Carrier(s)”) as reliable mail carriers and QuadQuestions.com’s carriers of choice.

If you select “Free Shipping” or USPS mail service, QuadQuestions.com will send your packages with United States Postal Service (“USPS”). Depending on the type of USPS service you choose (First Class, Priority Mail, or Express Mail) the package may show receipt by the USPS, but may not show any tracking information after it was received by the USPS. Even mail service types that typically provide full tracking information to your location may sometimes not show any information beyond the USPS receiving the package. QuadQuestions.com has no influence or control over the internal processes of Mail Carriers or the local postal system of your country. QuadQuestions.com can not be held liable for any mistakes made by a Mail Carrier or your local country’s postal service. QuadQuestions.com strongly advises against using USPS for orders going to locations outside the USA.

5.1.1 Shipping insurance

When QuadQuestions.com sends your order with any Mail Carrier, the delivery is not ‘insured’.

We offer optional shipping insurance available for separate purchase during the check out process. See QuadQuestions.com optional shipping insurance to see what this insurance covers.

https://quadquestions.com/shipping-insurance/

If an insurance is selected at checkout, then it is purchased through a 3rd party insurance company at the time that your package is shipped. It is your responsibility to purchase the additional insurance if you want to insure your package against loss or damage.  QuadQuestions LLC. Does not directly insure packages and in the event of a claim, rewarding of such claims is at the sole discretion of the 3rd party insurance company.  QuadQuestions LLC. makes no claim that purchasing insurance guarantees a refund in the event of loss or damage.  Refunds will only be returned after the successful completion of an insurance claim and after quadquestions.com has been reimbursed by the insurance company.

5.1.2 Signature requirements

None of the mail services offered by QuadQuestions.com require a signature on delivery of your package. Only in certain cases and in the sole discretion of QuadQuestions.com will a signature be required.  If you select shipping insurance than your package will be automatically upgraded to include a signature.

5.2 Lost packages

If the tracking information for your package shows receipt by any of QuadQuestions.com’s mail carriers, QuadQuestions.com is not responsible if your package never arrives at your location. No refunds will be provided if your package is lost in the mail system either in the USA or in your destination country. Almost all packages sent by QuadQuestions.com reach their recipient.

5.3 Backordered items

If your order contains items that are ‘backordered’, your entire order will be held until the backordered item(s) come(s) into stock. All orders ship complete. Partial shipments are only available under certain conditions and in the sole discretion of QuadQuestions.com. Items of your order that are not on backorder will be held in reserve for you so that no previously purchased item runs out of stock while we wait on the backordered item(s).

5.4 Mail service delays

In rare cases and depending on your ship to address, it can take much longer than indicated for a package to reach you and independent of the mail service you chose during check-out. The delivery time frames provided are averages for most mail pieces. QuadQuestions.com is not responsible if a Mail Carrier or your local country’s postal service delays the arrival of your package due to custom holds or other issues. QuadQuestions.com does not provide refunds in case your package is delayed.

5.4 Customs, Duties, and “Return to Sender” Packages

For orders shipped outside the USA, you are solely responsible for any and all import duties your local customs office may impose on your order. If a package is returned to QuadQuestions.com due to the Mail Carrier’s inability to collect customs duties or deliver the package to your provided ship-to address, QuadQuestions.com will not refund shipping costs when and if the package is returned to QuadQuestions.com.

5.5 No Freight Forwarding Addresses

We do not allow orders to be shipped to freight forwarding addresses. We ship internationally to almost any country in the world.

5.6 No Hotel Addresses

We do not allow orders to be shipped to hotels. Please provide a permanent street address.

5.7 PO Boxes

Shipments to PO Boxes are reviewed on a case by case basis and may be declined. To avoid your order being held for review, use your regular residencial address.

5.8 Canceled Order Refunds

All orders that are declined by us due to violation of any of our shipping rules are automatically voided with your method of payment and canceled.

5.9 Time to Ship

Orders placed with QuadQuestions.com usually take at least 1-2 business days to leave our warehouse from the time your order is placed. “Overnight” and other expedited forms of shipping are calculated from the point in time that a QuadQuestions.com Mail Carrier receives an order from our warehouse after processing.  In some cases, your order might be put on a mandatory fraud check in which place, your order will be placed on hold until it is deemed that your order is not fraudulent, which could take up to 5 business days. If you must expedite your order, we recommend that you contact us  after your order has been placed so that we can be sure to expedite the handling process.

5.10 Privacy Policy

QuadQuestions.com collects certain types of data that is used to support our customer’s experience throughout the QuadQuestions.com and Ask.QuadQuestions.com websites, to manage access to your account, and for other purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

5.11 Free Shipping

Free shipping does not apply towards certain items such as batteries, and it is at the sole discretion of QuadQuestions.com to approve orders with free shipping, and hold orders if it is deemed that shipping needs to be paid for on an order.   Free shipping is not always offered at quadquestions.com and might be removed from the site without notice.  Free shipping does not apply to international orders, dealer orders, or special-case circumstances.  Free shipping is not the most reliable method of shipment, and it is recommended to purchase additional insurance or upgrade to a priority service to receive the item in a reasonable amount of time, and/or with a guarantee.  Free shipping can take anywhere from 1-999 days to arrive at it’s destination.

There will be no refund issued for any items that are shipped via the free shipping method and that are lost by the carrier service provided after an initial acceptance scan.  See section 5.2 for more details.

6.1 Ready to Fly models

QuadQuestions will not be held liable for any product purchased from a 3rd party

Repairs will not be accepted without prior RMA authorization.

In the event that a repair has been scheduled with our shop, you must send us an entire order.  This means that if you have an issue with your model, you must send us the entire model.  We do not accept individual parts for replacement.

Any modification to any item sold in our store including RTF models will result in a default.  This means that if a model is flown with different propellers, motors, escs, flight controllers, cameras, or batteries than recommended/provided, that all manufacturer defect claims will be void and the RMA will become a Factory refurbish job which will result in parts and labor being charged.

6.2 Custom work

QuadQuestions will not accept any custom work beyond restoring an RTF model back to “factory” condition.

6.3 Prior Authorization for work required

If a package is delivered to QuadQuestions without a prior RMA or Refurbish authorization, it could be destroyed without any notice to the end user. YOU MUST REQUEST RMA AUTHORIZATION FIRST!

Contact Us to obtain an RMA authorization.
