QAV250 Angled Motor Mount Extensions

These are amazing little extenders for your QAV 250.  They allow the advanced pilot to step up to 6″ props which is a whole different animal than 5″.  These are currently a pre-order item, and we are expecting them to be coming out in the coming weeks.

The Lumenier aluminum motor mounts extend the arms of the QAV250 enabling mounting of 6″ props while also tilting the motors to a 10 degree angle.

I recommend only using these once you are comfortable with pid tuning and ready to change out motors & ESCs.  2000KV motors max with 12-18A ESCs minimum.  6030s pull about 11A already, so it is recommended to go with the KISS ESC or other larger amperage ESC when converting.

QAV250 Angled Motor Mount Extensions

Details

These aluminum motor mounts extend the arms of the QAV250 enabling mounting of 6″ props while also tilting the motors to a 10 degree angle all in a single part. This angled motor mount extension facilitates the QAV250 to fly at a lower angle of attack when performing fast forward flight (“FFF”) thereby reducing drag, increasing speed, and keeping cameras more level. The part is light, strong, and machined out of a single piece. The mount attaches to any stock QAV250 airframe with 4 screws. No nuts required. The motor attaches to the angled mount as usual. Patent Pending.

NOTE: This part is only compatible with the Lumenier QAV250.  The QAV250 Angled Motor Mount Extensions will not work on mini quads from other manufacturers.
